2012 Kidcentric Sports Coach of the Year Dale Poole has been head coach of the OHS boys soccer team since 1983 and also coached the OHS boys track team from 1999 to 2006. Through his long coaching career, Dale has lived the values that Kidcentric Sports is promoting in our community. Jamie Duvall, at left, presented his award.

2012 Kidcentric Sports Sportsperson of the Year Jeff Everett has volunteered with Owensboro Eastern Cal Ripken since 1998 and during that time he has served the organization as president for a total of six years, including the last five. This year, Jeff has led his league to embrace a kidcentric style for the benefit of everyone involved in the league. 2012 Kidcentric Sports Player of the Year Ke’Asha Phillips is an honor roll student at Owensboro Middle School and has played on the Owensboro High School Golf team since 4th grade. This year she became the youngest winner of the Women’s City Golf tournament and also won the Girls Championship division in the Greater Owensboro Junior Golf series. She is shown with Coach Gabrielle Hart who presented the award.
